RG Carter, FEZ Hub – Food Enterprise Zone

The South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone (FEZ) is a revolutionary development which is being delivered by a partnership consisting of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Lincolnshire County Council, South Holland District Council and the University of Lincoln.

The building having been designed by Core Architects, and built by RG Carter, has been complimented by the soft landscaping scheme designed by Influence.  Combining native hedgerow planting with kitchen garden areas, that grows herbs and plants that can be used within the hub itself.  Areas of wildflower seeding and turf give the area a lovely feel for students and visitors alike.

The soft landscaping teams worked with RG Carter bring the design to life, and the maintenance team have kept the area looking at its best.

In February 2023 the Hub won the prestigious award, ‘Development Project of the Year’ in the Greater Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards.

We are proud to have been able to bring the landscaping scheme to life.
