Happy New Year!
Happy New Year from the entire team at West Lindsey Landscapes!
As we step into 2026, we want to express our sincere gratitude to you, our valued clients and employees. Your support and loyalty have been the driving force behind our success.
2025 was a landmark year for us, internally and externally. Completing projects for The Foundry, Franklin College and continuing work at Chestnut Homes sites, as well as increasing our staff numbers and enhancing our team’s professional development.
Here’s to a prosperous and fulfilling year ahead!
Project Highlight
Franklin College
Franklin Sixth Form College, located in Grimsby, has had a complete modernisation. Working closely with Lindum Construction to produce a safe, yet charming environment for the students, in a short space of time, we planted over 2,100 carefully selected shrubs, 8 trees and turfed areas using high-quality landscaping turf.
We are delighted that our experienced landscaping team accomplished and actualised their vision.
Community Engagement
Poachers Patch
At the back end of last year, we were delighted to have a part in working alongside other community-minded organisations to transform a once-neglected area at Lincoln City Football Club into a well-being space for Foundation and Football Club staff and the local community. It was a privilege to donate our time and resources to build something people can use to socialise or to offer respite from the pressures of modern-day life.
Client Highlight
R G Carter
At West Lindsey Landscapes, we build strong relationships with contractors who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and transforming outdoor spaces. This Quarter, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on R G Carter, a leading family-owned firm with a century of building excellence.
We have had the pleasure of working alongside R G Carter, providing landscaping for many of their projects. Including our most recent together, The Foundry in Sheffield, a newly built Health Care Hub. Working alongside R G Carter continues to be a privilege due to their collaborative approach, strong communication and innovation. R G Carter is known for their quality and excellence, exceeding client expectations and committing to getting it right the first time – something we, as a company, pride ourselves in achieving, which makes our relationship so special. We are excited to continue this long-lasting relationship.
Employee Highlight
Matt Marshall
Matt joined the team in April 2025. Since joining the team, he has really come out of his shell, becoming an essential part of our team dynamic. Known for his friendly demeanour and can-do attitude, he keeps the entire team motivated, smiling, and working harmoniously, even on the toughest of days. On his days off, Matt enjoys completing DIY projects in his new home with his long-term girlfriend, Jasmine, and adding to his growing collection of Milwaukee power tools.
Team Updates
Go Ape
In October, our team took some time out of their busy work schedule to enjoy a team-building experience at Go Ape, Sherwood Pines. They kicked off the day with various team challenges, applying their problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks, inspiring out-of-the-box thinking and collaboration. Later in the day, they completed the Tree Top Challenge, which brought them out of their comfort zones. To see the support and resilience shown by everyone was inspiring. This was also a great chance to celebrate Kellie, our Operations Manager, 50th birthday!
At West Lindsey Landscapes, we believe that strong teams are built on more than just work – they’re built on connection, shared experiences, and a bit of fun!
Mia – Apprentice of the Month
In November, we were thrilled to announce that our Estimator, Mia Owen, who completed her Level 3 Construction Support Technician standard apprenticeship, has been recognised as ‘Apprentice of the Month’ by The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) for her outstanding work and dedication. To honour this, Mia will be featured in the CIOB Construction Management Magazine in the New Year.
At West Lindsey Landscapes, we are proud to invest in the next generation of construction professionals. Mia’s achievement is a testament to the success of this initiative and her own hard work.
Welcome Dan E
Dan Elliot is the newest member of our team, joining in late October 2025. While his background may not be in horticulture, he brings a unique set of skills and a fresh perspective that is already proving to be a fantastic asset to our team. Dan has a very active lifestyle. When he’s not getting his hands dirty, he enjoys being outdoors in the countryside, whether that be going on long walks or hiking and participating in Muay Thai boxing.

Naomi’s Garden
In February, we are completing work at Naomi’s Garden, a holistic centre for wholeness for individuals and families living in Lincolnshire. Creating a peaceful outdoor space for individuals to relax and recuperate.
