Quarter 3 2024

July 2024 -September 2024

Western Growth Corridor

A joint venture undertaken by Lindum Construction and City of Lincoln Council.
The Western Growth Corridor project is to include 3,200 homes, including a commitment to deliver a new primary school, health care provision, business park and transport infrastructure proposed for future works.
Our Commercial Manager, Ross, assisted Lindum Construction in the design works to meet criteria for this project, with countless meetings and specifications to aid with the final design.
In June 2024 West Lindsey Landscapes were proud to commence work at Western Growth Corridor.
The areas included a combination of amenity turf and wildflower grassland bordering the initial road structure before house building work commences in Autumn months with a strip of shrub planting and trees along the roadside swales.
The works were completed in 5 weeks with an ongoing maintenance programme over the coming months.

Persimmon Homes - Greetwell Fields

Persimmon Homes housing development, located on Lincoln’s eastern boundary will consist of five hundred new two, three and four-bedroom homes. Completion of this project is estimated to take three to five years.

March 2024 saw West Lindsey Landscapes start works on site to undertake the soft landscaping. This began with the design and implementation of plot 5 (show home) by our in-house design team. We will continue working on site with monthly visits to keep abreast of the landscaping requirements as the development grows.

Work Experience

Our commitment to our apprenticeship team continues by conducting work trials for two individuals. We thank them for their hard work during this time and are considering their applications for a full-time position.

We would also like to say thank you to Max who joined our team for temporary work experience during the summer holidays before returning to college in September. We wish Max all the best in his studies.

Lincoln Jobs Fair

Tracy, Business Development and Marketing Manager and Ross, Commercial Manager, attended the Lincoln jobs fair in May hosted by Lincoln College. Tracy organised the materials needed to demonstrate our skill sets as commercial landscapers.

Tracy and Ross were kept busy all day explaining the great opportunities available with West Lindsey Landscapes.

An enjoyable day speaking to candidates and other local businesses.

Tracy would love to come and meet all our present and future customers, and suppliers, or if you fancy popping into our Lincoln office, she may even have biscuits.

You can contact Tracy on:

We look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with Riseholme College to train the next generation of professional landscapers. At a recent visit to the college, we discussed how working together will provide students with the opportunity to benefit from the first-class facilities offered by the college and the skills gained from on-the-job training. We are delighted to have been invited to join the business advisory group and attend future career evenings.

Up and coming day at the races

September the whole team are being treated to a company event day at Doncaster Cup Day.
