Quarter 1 & 2 2024

February 2024 – June 2024
What a great end to the year. Working collectively as a team, we achieved our best year to date, almost topping £1 million turnover.
We look forward to building on that figure in 2024-2025 and are excited about what the future will bring for West Lindsey Landscapes Ltd.

Feature Projects

Sports Pitch Reinstatement

In April 2022 we began our works to return this overgrown field back to its original purpose as a sports pitch.

The field had stood for 4 years and our first task was to carry out an Ecological report, after our second survey we had the all clear and were able to move onto our clearance works.

The clearance works consisted of boundary treatments, flailing, herbicide and brash removal.

Maintenance of the field was carried out until the school were ready to give the go ahead for the next stage to start. Topsoil importation started in July 2023 but soon halted due to the requirement of the installation of an underground drainage system.

Working with our partners at Lindum Plant this was achieved during a break in the wet weather.

With a window of good weather, the topsoiling recommenced in May 2024 with seeding starting in June.
Weather dependant, we are due to complete our final works in August 2024.

December 2023 saw the start of the landscaping works, this consisted of the clearing and preparation of the ground, laying of turf, mulching and planting. The final plots were completed in February 2024, ready for Lindum’s handover to their client.

We are hoping to carry out more works in Sutton in Ashfield later in the year.

G S Kelsey Construction - Ashtree Close in Belton

In February 2023 G S Kelsey Construction began works at Ashtree Close in Belton to undertake a £5 million regeneration project to include 27 new homes consisting of two bedroom bungalows and two and three bedroom houses.

In October 2023 we started our first phase at Ashtree Close by undertaking 3 bungalows, followed by 13 houses in February 2024. This regeneration scheme will also include landscaping of the wider estate providing safe areas of play for the local community. These areas include a combination of amenity and wildflower grasslands complete with heavy standard trees, and decorative natural stone boulders.

Our final phase of works is due in mid 2025 with the remaining 11 homes being completed.
