November 2022
Lindum Construction was awarded the contract for carrying out £1.2m of repairs and improvements to the Victoria Embankment memorial gardens in Nottingham. This included areas of planting along the long boarder edge of the memorial garden and hedging to the Wildlife garden.
The extensive planting scheme took place in November 2022, using the plants chosen and supplied by the local council we set about our task. Always being mindful of members of the public that were interested in the works taking place in their local area.
The memorial garden has undertaken a huge transformation, along with the restoration of the statue of Queen Victoria, giving this area a real feeling of refinement.
In recognition of the work, the local media featured this project in a television programme.
We enjoyed working along side Lindum to help them to achieve the finesse to accomplish this finished scheme.
